Setting up filtering for the relume blog component

At a glance

The community member is using the Relume BLOG component and has 9 categories for their 'CLUB NEWS' blog. They are asking how to set up the filtering at the top of the blog. Another community member suggests two options: using Finsweet Attributes (hard-mode) or linking the categories to the category template and styling it (easy-mode). The original poster prefers the easy-mode option and asks if there is a video they can watch to understand it better.

Hey Lumers & & . Quick question. When using relume BLOG component, I have 9 categories for our ‘CLUB NEWS’(blog) - see image. How do we set up the FILTERING at the top??? Do I have to use Client First attributes? Not sure?? Please help - I’ve watched the relume tutorial (which was awesome) on how to add them in but it doesn’t cover the filtering?

I would love to know too, I temporary deleted that filter

two ways to handle that - you can use Finsweet Attributes (hard-mode) or you can just link them to the category template and style the category template (easy-mode). It just depends on what kind of experience you want to give the user.

Thanks so much I’ll try and do the easy mode option? is there any video I can watch? I don’t really understand what you mean?
