Setting up an ecommerce store on webflow: issues with product header 1 and missing placeholder images

At a glance

The community member is setting up an ecommerce store on Webflow for the first time and is having an issue with the "Product Header 1" component. When they add it to the Products Template page, all but one of the placeholder images are missing. They have tried to find Relume tutorials on setting up ecommerce components, but they don't seem to exist.

In the comments, another community member suggests that the issue may be related to populating the "more images" for the variants, and that there may be a limitation in Webflow ecommerce for populating all variant main images into the gallery. They also suggest adding a collection list and transferring the classes from the static list to the new collection list, providing a link to a tutorial on the process.

There is no explicitly marked answer in the comments.

Useful resources

First time setting up an ecommerce store on Webflow so please excuse my ignorance. I’ve attached screenshots to show my issues.

Would you mind sending a read-only link?

Have you had a chance to look at the link?

you'll need to populate the "more images" for your variants. If you are trying to populate all of your variant main images into this gallery I believe that's a limitation of Webflow ecommerce..

you'll also need to add a collection list and transfer the classes from the static list to this new collection list.

my process for doing this is detailed here - same concept, you'll just be hooking it to ecomm.

Okay great. Thanks for that!
