Renaming of container-large class in webflow site

At a glance

The community member is experiencing an issue where Webflow is renaming their container-large class when pasting sections into their site, even though the Relume Class Sync feature is enabled. The community member is unsure why this is happening and asks if they should just remove the new container-large [x] class and replace it with container-large.

In the comments, another community member suggests that the issue may be caused by duplicate classes in the project. They recommend cleaning the project of any duplicate classes, then double-checking that the Class Sync feature is enabled. If the issue persists, they suggest turning the Class Sync feature off, saving the project, refreshing, turning it back on, saving again, and then trying to paste the sections again. If that still doesn't work, they recommend sharing a read-only link to the project and details on where the community member is pasting the components from, so they can investigate further.

Hey team, when I am pasting sections into my webflow site, it keeps renaming my ' container-large ' class as seen in screenshot, even though Relume Class Sync is on. Can someone help me on why this keeps occurring, and what this means? Should I just remove the new ' container-large [x] ' class and replace it with ' container-large ', and all will be fine?

once this starts, you have to clean your project completely of the duplicate classes.

After you are sure that your project is sanitized of duplicate classes - double check that class sync is on.

If you paste and it still has issues, turn it off, save (cmd + s), refresh, turn it back on, save, refresh, and try pasting again.

If that doesn't work, and you are pasting and its still duplicating classes, share your read-only link and where you are pasting components from (and what components) and we'll investigate more.

Apologies for the frustrations here!
