Relume Site Building Process: Streamlining Design and Development

At a glance
The community member is new to Relume and wants to confirm the process of using Relume, Figma, and Webflow. The process involves:

1. Using the Relume Site builder to create a sitemap and wireframes 2. Designing in Figma using the Relume Figma Kit, setting up variables in the style guide 3. Developing in Webflow using the Relume Starter Project, importing or pasting the design from Figma and setting up the style guide and variables

The main concern is whether it is necessary to set up the variables in both Figma and Webflow, and if there is an automatic sync option to avoid double work. Another community member responds that there is no auto sync or direct import from Figma to Webflow, and the process involves importing, copying, and pasting from Relume into Webflow. They also suggest that skipping the Figma design phase and designing directly in Webflow may be the fastest option for those who are confident.

Hello guys!
I just watched introductory videos and I am going to start using Relume. Sorry for the noob question but I believe it's a channel for that πŸ™‚
I'd like to confirm how the process should look:
1 - Relume Site builder - creating sitemap + site wireframes
2 - Figma - design using Relume Figma Kit - based on imported wireframes or by adding extra Relume components - preferably setting all the variables in ready made style guide
3 - Webflow - development using Relume Starter Project - importing or pasting design from Figma into Webflow and again setting up the style guide, variables etc

My main concern is whether it is a must to set up the variables in both Figma and Webflow. Isn't there any automatic sync option or trick to avoid double work? πŸ™‚

I know the process is much faster anyways, so no offense, just asking 😁

I'm new to Relume as well, but I don't think there is an auto sync or import from Figma to Webflow. Webflow has an app, but it messes up classes if you use it on a Relume Figma design. Also, I think the process involves importing, copying, and pasting from Relume into Webflow. Not directly from Figma.

You mean skipping the design in Figma phase? It's probably the fastest for those who are confident designing directly in Webflow.
