Relume Editor Interaction Issues After Duplicating a Page in Webflow

At a glance

The community member has a page in Webflow built using the Relume editor, and after duplicating the page, some of the interactions on the new page no longer work. Another community member suggests two possible solutions:

1. Navigate to the homepage where the original component lives, find the trigger div, open the interactions panel, and choose "class" instead of "element". This will make the duplicate of that component work on the other page, but renaming the classes on either page will break it.

2. Link up the same interactions to the trigger as seen on the homepage, which will not break if the classes are renamed.

There is no explicitly marked answer in the comments.

I have a page in webflow that was built using the Relume editor. I duplicated the page, but some of the interactions on the new page no longer work. Any advice?

@Mike Warning Would you mind sending a read-only link?

@Mike Warning The quickest solution is to navigate to the homepage where the original component lives and find the trigger div, open up interactions panel (H) and then choose class instead of element. This will make the duplicate of that to work on the other page.

However, if you were to rename these classes to be different on either page, it would break.

The other option is to link up the same interactions to this trigger as you see on the homepage, which will not break if you do rename classes.
