Redesigning an Existing Webflow Site with Relume

If a client Website already exists in Webflow, and they want to re-design it, would it be better to create a new project starting with Relume to import to a cloned Relume Style Guide new Webflow site, or is there a way to add Relume style guide to the existing Webflow site then import the new Relume project? πŸ€”

Hey! Caleb, i recommend you to rebuild and start fresh with a new project and this decision typically depends on the size and complexity of your website project.

1) For small and basic sites
Rebuilding from scratch is recommended as it avoids hassles with renaming/formatting classes

But remember one thing. If you choose to add Relume to an existing project
you can

1) Clone the Relume Style Guide into a new project
2) Copy the page-wrapper from the style guide page and paste it into your primary project
3) Manually replicate the variables from the cloned project
4) Manually link variables to components when copying them in
