Navigating Relume: Sitemap, Wireframes, and App Shells

At a glance

The community member is using Relume for sitemap and wireframes and has questions about using different navigation bars for public site pages and logged-in app pages, as well as incorporating app shells and components into the wireframes. The comments indicate that the Relume Site Builder does not support using application components or shells, and that the community member would need to use other tools like Figma or Webflow for that functionality. For the navigation bar, the comments suggest using a backend tool like Wized or Memberstack/Outseta to control what is displayed based on user login status. Another option mentioned is Webflow Memberships, but with limited functionality.

Hi Relume team! We are using Relume for a sitemap and wireframes and had a couple of questions;

  1. How do I use a different nav bar (public site pages and logged in app pages)
  2. Can I make use of app shells in wireframes and insert compoinents inside the shell areas?

unfortunately you can't use application components or shells within the Relume Site Builder - you would have to assemble those things directly in Figma or Webflow.

As for the navbar functionality, you'd have to use a backend tool like wized or memberstack/outseta to control what shows up based on a user being logged in.

Suppose you could also try Webflow Memberships but there's limited functionality there at the moment.

Okay, be much more useful when your wireframes support apps and not just websites. Just some feedback.
