Navbar21 component not showing current state

At a glance

The community member is using the navbar21 component on their site, and the navbar21_link-large elements are not showing the current state as expected. The current page link looks black on a dark blue background, which is not desirable. The community members discuss this issue and one suggests a workaround involving duplicating the navbar component, opening the menu, and selecting the current link. However, there is no explicitly marked answer to the issue.

Hello Lumers! I am using the navbar21 component on a site, and the navbar21_link-large elements will not show me the <current> state. But they do change base on the default. But this is no good to me since this then makes the current page link look black on a dark blue background. Is there anyone else that has this issue with this component? or have any ideas on how to fix it ?

Would you mind sending a read-only link?

Hi Matt, I sent you a dm with a link

yeah that is very odd - the only way that I could get this to work correctly is to duplicate the green navbar component and detach instance, open the navbar menu, and then I selected current link - and then I would select a different page and then select the current page again and then for some reason the green "current" tag showed up and then I could style as I would expect.

This is a webflow bug IMO.
