Importing items and block spacing in the style guide + site builder webflow app

A community member is having trouble getting imported items to use Block Spacing when using the Style Guide + Site Builder Webflow App. They have set their preferences to "Spacing Blocks" in both places and are using version 3.0 of the starter project, but the imported site is still using margin classes. Another community member suggests this is a known issue, as the answer they found was more than 90 days old and could not be seen.
