Implementing Two-Factor Tabs and Filters

At a glance

The community member is asking how to create a two-factor tab/filter system, where the user can click one button to switch tabs and another to filter the items within the selected tab. The comments suggest that this could be achieved using Jetboost, but may be more challenging with Finsweet as the filters need to be in a single form block. However, the community member notes that it may be possible to use multiple instances of the CMS Filter on the same page if the tabs have completely different filters.

Useful resources

Do you guys know how to make two factor tabs/filters? I want the user to click one button to switch the tab, then another to filter the items in that tab to only show certain ones. Is there a way to do this?

this could be done with Jetboost I'm pretty sure - its how we handle it on the Relume Library but with Finsweet it might be challenging because the filters have to be in a single form block. And by default tabs will be splitting into two different forms.

You can have multiple instances of CMS Filter on the same page so in theory if those two tabs have two completely different filters in them, I suppose it could work actually.
