Implementing Finsweet's Input Counter on Multiple Elements

At a glance

A community member has implemented Finsweet's input counter on a product page, which worked perfectly. However, when they tried to add it to the cart flyout, it stopped working and also affected the one on the product page. The community member suspects this is because they have multiple instances of the input counter on the same page. They are asking how to fix this so they can use multiple instances on the same page.

Another community member suggests the issue may be due to having multiple instances, and recommends trying to replicate the patterns Finsweet has for handling multiple instances, such as using "trigger-1 value-1 trigger-2 value-2". They also suggest contacting Finsweet's support for further guidance.

Hey everyone πŸ‘‹ I've implemented Finsweet's input counter on a product page which worked perfectly. I've then tried to add it to the cart flyout but it's not working and has stopped the one on the page working also. Is this because I have multiple on the one page? If so how would I fix this so I can use multiple on the one page?

yeah without having done a ton of digging on this - I think that you are likely correct that its because you have multiples - have you tried replicating some of the same patterns they have for when you have multiples of something?

trigger-1
value-1

trigger-2
value-2

Otherwise, I would probably chime into their support to see if they have any direction/insights on that one - apologies for the delay and not being as helpful!
