Implementing application ui components in wireframing and webflow

At a glance

The community member is asking how to use Application UI components in a wireframe and Webflow. According to the comment, it is not possible to nest components in the Site Builder tool, which is required to make application shells work with other components. The community member would need to use Figma or Webflow instead. For Webflow, the community member can follow the markers to indicate which shells work with which navbar or topbars, and they should be able to paste any component into the main wrapper of the application UI component, potentially needing to remove some padding or container divs. The comment indicates that it is possible to build out application UI using the provided components in Webflow.

How do we use the Application UI components in the wireframe? If it can't be used in the wireframe, how do we use them in Webflow? For example, if I want to use one of the Application Shells and a Form (let's say Form 1), how can I implement this?

if you are speaking to the Site Builder tool, unfortunately at this time it is not possible to nest components - which is what you would have to do to make application shells work with other components.

You would have to do this in Figma or Webflow.

For Webflow, you would just follow the markers to help indicate which shells work with which navbar or topbars.

For other components, you should be able to paste in basically any component into the main wrapper of the application UI component - you may need to remove the padding-global or container div's - I don't remember fully off the top of my head here. But in Webflow its totally possible to build out application UI using our components.
