Heey everyone π
I want to make my first webApp with Relume. But donβt know where to start.
I saw that there is an relume | React Docs (http://react-docs.relume.io/getting-started/installation) but I need more explanation then this. Is there someone who has gone through this and has a video about this topic? I am a big noob π
@Michiel Wils yeah our React components are intended to be used by web developers. I would say that just like everything Relume, we definitely lower the barrier to entry but the barrier to developer libraries like React are still pretty high if you have no programming experience at all.
Now don't get me wrong, I'm not at all saying that you wouldn't be able to set out to do what you are trying to do - but I dont think this community will be of much help right now. I would start with Youtube and learning the very basics of React, and setting up the proper packages on your local machine. Then I would venture out into our React component library. My guess is that you'll be able to get pretty far pretty quickly with the frontend - but where things will start to get very difficult will be in the "business logic" of the app - connecting the frontend to the backend (database) and what not.
If you are very familiar with Webflow, and have some programming knowledge, I might recommend Wized instead. If you have zero programming knowledge, I might recommend trying Adalo, Bubble or FlutterFlow - these are all no-code tools that are also a good gateway to building apps. But they are by no means a shortcut. Each have their own learning curves - some much larger than others. All depends on what kind of app you are trying to build.
Best of luck!
