How to remove the "tabs" functionality and have a static image in layout 500

At a glance

The community member is working on a site and loves the layout 500 feature, but wants to remove the "tabs" functionality and have a static image instead. They have been looking at Webflow/Relume FAQs but can't figure out how to do this. Another community member suggests that while it's not possible to delete elements in the Site Builder, in Webflow the community member can recreate the structure without the native tabs by adding additional divs and copying/pasting the classes from the tab component. A read-only preview link is provided for the community member to explore further.

Useful resources

Hello πŸ‘‹ First off, this product is awesome. Thank you all for building it!

I'm currently working on a site and I love layout 500. I'd love to delete the "tabs" functionality and just have a static image. I've been looking at Webflow/Relume FAQs but can't seem to figure that out.

Anyone know how to remove it?

Thank you!

are you in Site Builder or Webflow?

You are not able to delete elements within the Site Builder at this moment - its something our team is working really hard on and we hope to release soon but I do not have an ETA.

so you still want the 3 content places, just dont want them to be tabs?

you can easily recreate the structure without the native tabs - just add some additional divs outside of layout500_component and then just copy/paste the classes from the tab component to these divs and you'll get the structure, without the functionality.

I really appreciate. I'll dive in and try it out. Thank you!
