How to make a dropdown fill the full width of the browser

At a glance

A community member is using Navbar 5 and is trying to make the dropdown fill the full width of the browser. They have tried adding color to it and removing the 5% margin from the navigation, but the dropdown still does not fill the full width of the screen. The comments include a request for a read-only link, a discussion about the brand colors, and a suggestion to use Webflow's built-in x-ray mode to see the various blocks of the website. The community members also discuss using simpler navigation that works well.

Hey guys, I'm using Navbar 5, any ideas how I can make the dropdown fill the full width of the browser? I'm adding color to it, and it does not fill the full width of the screen. I even removed the 5% margin from the navigation itself, thinking it might be related to that, but no luck.

Would you mind sending a read-only link?

are these really your brand colors? 🀯

yes of course. Nah, I’m joking, I was using those colors to figure out which section is which

, thanks, however I decided to go with simpler navigation and it works well

alright, sounds good. In the future, just thought I'd point this out - Webflow has a built in x-ray mode where you can see the various blocks of your website. I have used your technique though in the past - its a solid one!

Omg that is awesome! Thank u! ✨

No problem - happy building! πŸš€
