have you happen to see this video I did by chance?
If not, let me know if this helped.

Happy to answer any additional questions this may not have answered and also I have added this question to a list of the next docs to write as we get this question frequently so we'll create a more proper doc for this question.

Thanks for the video I'll watch this and reach back out with any additional questions.

Thanks again for the resource. I was able to get to a certain point. My hold up now is I am not using CMS collections like you are in the video. But, I do have multiple modals on a single page. The issue I'm facing is being able to edit the modal content of each unique modal. What happens is that when I change the display from hidden to block, the modals stack on top of each other, and I can't edit the content of the modals below the top one. I tried giving each modal a unique style, but then that broke all of my interactions. Does that make sense?

Here's a video that I hope explains it better.

the simplest way I can think of is to display block your modal class, and then add hide to the other modal components on the page. Just remember to revert those actions before publishing. If for some reason that doesn't work do display block on the modal class, and then go into settings > visibility hidden - again be sure to revert this before publishing.

Duh... that makes total sense. Thank you so much
