Fixing Hamburger Menu Animation Issues with Webflow Anchor Links

I have an issue where the hamburger menu animation won’t close properly with an anchor link that is on the same page with the Webflow native anchor. It does work with /# but in my case I cant use that option. Is this a know issue and any one know how to resolve it?

hey Corné v. what link is it thats isnt working? the only one that looks like it is linked to an anchor is contact us and that seems to work fine for me.

Contact and it does not work on my iphone or ipad. Maybe ios issue then?

Matt J. it looks like its an IOS issue only, because when i set the aspect ratio on desktop to mobile it does not happen

Corné v. ah right I remember this now....and you said you tried just doing /#contact? I think I ended up having a developer for the startup client I have write some JS to help with this issue which is unfortunate but I'm sure you could write similar JS with ChatGPT

its basically a Webflow issue because the closing of the menu is reliant on a refresh of the page. Maybe - MAYBE you could try tying an interaction to the contact link that on first click it closes the mobile menu?? Just dawned on me that you might be able to do that if you are able to target nav open or close interactions?
