Issues with Google Tag Manager Tracking in Formly Multi-Step Forms

Formly support/documentation seems to be limited, and non existent, so I am going to drop this question here. Has anyone had issues using Google Tag Manager’s native Event Tracking Form Submission trigger, when using Formly multi-step forms, where the form submission doesn’t get captured when using Formly forms?
