Exporting an entire page to react: troubleshooting unavailable components

At a glance

A community member is having trouble exporting an entire page to React, as certain components are not available. The community members discuss this issue, with the support team acknowledging the problem and stating that it will be resolved in the next release. The support team also provides a list of components that are not yet available in the Sitebuilder, and mentions that they will soon provide a typed and default props version for these components. The community members also discuss the difficulties of exporting wireframes/pages to React and the lack of a style guide builder export for React, which is a priority for the team.

Hello, I am getting this message when trying to export an entire page to react, but it doesnt tell me which component are not available so Im completely stuck. Can someone advise me how I find out which components are not available in react so I can switch them out?

@Ryan Buckle yeah that is totally fair, I'll have to bump this up to engineering to find out. Sorry for the inconvenience here.

Thanks @Matt, furthermore, is there a video guide or something to export wireframes/pages to react? I've spent ages putting about 25 pages together and done all the copy on each of the wireframes. I now need to export this to react in a next.js project. Im going to attempt to style it when in there with Cursor as you cannot export style guides to react yet.

Hey @Ryan Buckle ,

Apologies for the inconvenience. This issue will be resolved in the next release. For now, I have the components that are not yet available in the Sitebuilder (please see the attached screenshot). Let me know if none of these are actually in your wireframe.

Regarding a guide, we’ll be providing one soon. In the meantime, could you share what difficulties you're facing? Is it placing the components one by one in the right location in your project? Is that what you mean?

Thanks, and damn. Im using header 108

So, these are the library components, which are all typed (typescript) and provided with default props (values not inlined). While in the Sitebuilder, they're not typed and the values are inlined.

We soon will provide the typed and default props version for Sitebuilder as well.

For the Library components, we have all the components available.

Okay thank you.

Ah no, unfortunately not but we have a super helpful team in the #C06SZT6UEBA channel so I would definitely ask any questions you have in there!

I have about 20 years CSS experience so I’m sure I could contribute but I’m not a React developer (officially). I’ve scaffolded a couple apps and wrote quite a bit of typescript in a previous client project but we have full stack engineers who could potentially assist.

@Ryan Buckle looks like we have this list here which should be fixed in the next release (in a week or so). And then all app UI and e-commerce components are not yet available.

Will that release include React Style sheets>?

naw, still working on that - no ETA on the release of style guide builder export for React but its one of the main priorities for the team right now.
