Dropdown Menus Broken Upon Import

At a glance

A community member imported a wireframe made with Relume into Figma using the Relume plugin, but the dropdown menus were cut off. They have tried various settings to fix the issue, but nothing has worked. The community member is hoping someone can provide a solution to this problem with the Relume Figma plugin.

Another community member suggests that the issue may be related to the auto layout settings in Figma. They recommend clicking on the page frame, ensuring it has auto layout enabled, and then adjusting the order of the elements in the auto layout to resolve the issue. Additionally, they suggest ensuring the menu is set to a "position fixed" setting.

Dropdown menus broken upon import

I made the wireframe with Relume.
I imported it into Figma using the relume plug in, and the drop down menus were cut off.
I have played with every setting I can thing of to try and fix this.

It isn't clip content, it isn't move to front etc.

So:

  1. Just FYI your relume figma plug is broken.
  2. By chance, I'm hoping someone knows the fix for this issue?

thank you

Okay, I'll ask the team if this is a setting we can enable by default but I am not sure if its possible. But in Figma, click on the page frame - in my case its the "home" frame. It should have auto layout on it. Then find the auto layout settings and change the order of how things stack in the auto layout, this should resolve the issue. However, if the menu is not in a position fixed setting, you'll want to do that as well.

Your layers should look like this.
