Copy and paste not working: troubleshooting tips

G'day. Copy and paste is not working. I've gone through toggling extension on and off. Installed and unistalled the ext. Turned class sync on and off.

Nothing is working.

What can I do?

what errors are you getting? Any screenshots? Has it worked for you in the past?

Hey. It has worked in the past. That screenshot was really hard to get lol. Error only stays for 1 sec

the relume square in the sidebar of webflow that shows up after you install the extension

in the extension under Preferences, what version number does it say at the bottom?

and related, is your browser up to date?

Yea, I'm running Arc, which runs on chrome

sorry, at the very bottom of the extension window -the extension version

alright, well the only difference between you and me so far is Arc

I just copied navbar 2 into a project without issue, I was also actively working on a client project and used the extension to paste in about 4 or 5 components back to back

yeah, odd, we don't "usually" have issues with Arc

let me check on a pure chrome version

Ok, it's still happening even with a freshly logged in instance of Chrome

It works when I copy directly from the library

and I don't have class sync

helps me understand where to look, which is obviously with the extension. Almost like your webflow designer doesn't have permission to paste - are you able to copy any element within your designer, and paste?

Yea, I could copy and paste between project. I brough some design elements in from another to this one

It's there, in the sidebar, but if I dodn't have the extension I wouldn't have it

It's turned off as of now

alright, yeah I would make sure its on. Do you have spacing as blocks or wrappers preferences?

as stupid as this sounds, I would also try logging out of webflow and even restarting your computer.

I just tried all the combination of preferences and even class sync on/off and it still works for me....its definitely something localized to your system.

I will give it a try but as of now I'm pretty exhausted dealing with it and don't want to end my work session with all of the other stuff I'm doing in tabs

I'' try it later and let you know what happens back in this thread
