Connecting Uncommon Sections to a CMS

At a glance
The community member asked if uncommon sections like "Team 22" can be connected to a CMS. Another community member responded that while many uncommon components can be powered by a CMS, it would be very difficult to make "Team 22" into a CMS-powered component due to its inconsistent pattern. They suggested using multiple collection lists and the Finsweet "static-to-collection-list" tool as a potential solution, but the original poster felt this would make the solution more complicated. The community members agreed that this would be a challenging task.

Hello!
Just a quick question .
A section such as Team 22 or other uncommon sections that are off-grid can be connected to a CMS.?

I would say that as a general rule that I would not expect all uncommon components to be able to be powered by the CMS - however, many can be. I would say it would be very difficult to make team 22 into a CMS powered component but likely not impossible. Biggest issue with team 22 is that it doesn't have a consistent enough pattern to replicate.

The spacer divs are 2, 1, 2, 2, 2, 1, 2.

You could "try" having multiple collection lists and using limits and offsets along with https://finsweet.com/attributes/static-to-collection-list and maybe get somewhere?

Thank you I think that solution on multiple collection lists will make it more complicated …
