Conditional logic in multi-step forms: InputFlow vs. Webflow's built-in features

At a glance

The community member is asking about the benefits of using InputFlow for conditional logic in multi-step forms compared to the built-in conditional logic in Webflow. The comments suggest that Formly, a multi-step form component built with Webflow, may be a better option. Some community members express concerns about the longevity and depth of InputFlow, and recommend using Webflow's partnership with Relume and Formly instead. There is also feedback that Webflow's current logic flow feature was shelved in favor of other developments, and suggestions to use Make for automations and Formly for multi-step forms.

Useful resources

Has anyone used InputFlow for conditional logic in multi-step forms? I'm wondering what benefit it brings compared to using conditional logic that is built into Webflow...

have you seen our multi-step form components built with Formly?

I’ve seen them and plan to use them in a site soon! Didn’t realise they’re made with Formly.

I’m guessing I would need to pay to use conditional logic? Are there any resources you’d recommend for learning about the whole process of building with formly in webflow?

I do not trust InputFlow to have the longevity and depth of true business handling, at any scale.

Stick with Webflow and Relume's Strategic Partnership with Formly - it is based in logic, that reaches beyond conditional 😜

Stay amazing, but do not stay a stranger!

FYI on the Webflow discourse I have seen a lot of feedback saying that the current logic flow feature was shelved in Nov in favour of developing other features. Not that they will never return to developing it, but the feedback is that it isn't very well built. Recommendations are to use Make to automations and it sounds like Formly for multi-step forms.
