Cloning and duplicating template sites with the relume style guide

At a glance

The community member asks if they can clone a template site created with the Relume Style Guide and still be able to use Relume. Another community member responds that as long as the components have been customized, there should be no issue. They explain that once components are pasted/imported into tools like Figma, Webflow, or React, they are no longer connected to the Relume library, so even if the subscription is paused, the components will still work. The community member notes that the subscription provides access to the components, new releases, and other Relume features.

If I clone the Relume Style Guide and then create a template site with it, can I then clone or duplicate the template site and still be able to use Relume with it?

sure - as long as the components have been customized in some way, no harm there. As for the connection to the library - once you have pasted/imported components into Figma or Webflow or React, they are no longer "connected" to the library in anyway - so for example if you paused your subscription, your components will be fine. You are paying monthly for access to the components and to the new components we release as well as the AI Site builder, apps, and extensions. Hope that makes sense.
