Class Naming 101: Bem

Hi guys, I am so excited to be here and learning about Relume and Webflow. I am wondering does Relume supports BEM class naming mentioned in this article on Webflow blog: https://webflow.com/blog/class-naming-101-bem
It is interesting concept and it would be great if there is an option in Relume to support it. Thanks

@Toni so glad to have you here Toni! So Relume is built using Client-First, which uses a version of BEM actually.

You can read more about why we use Client-First here:
https://www.relume.io/resources/docs/why-relume-uses-client-first

We also link out to Client-First in that doc which you can read over and get a better understanding of how to use it. Its a game changing framework for building in Webflow and I encourage you to learn and understand it when you have the time.

Hi @Matt thank you for quick response. I will read more about Client-First. Much appreciated.

Hello @Matt, I have read more about Client-First approach. I see that both Relume and Finsweet have style guide that are recommended to start with in regards to Client-First approach:
https://webflow.com/made-in-webflow/website/relume-library-styleguide
https://webflow.com/made-in-webflow/website/client-first-cloneable

Should I use one of those (in that case, which one are you recommending) or both style guides?
Thanks

@Toni id recommend using the Relume Style Guide.
