Changing Variable Colors and Atomic Components in Figma

At a glance

The post is from a community member who is new to Relume and is asking how to change variable colours and atomic level components on Figma. They are having trouble updating a button without it updating the global button component. The comments suggest that another community member, , will be able to help with this. They also recommend watching a video walkthrough and using the Relume Figma kit, either the free or premium version. A workflow map is shared that may help with working between Relume and Figma. The community members seem to find the workflow map helpful and are looking into the issue further.

Useful resources

Hey Guys, new to relume and very excited! How do we change variable colours and atomic level components on Figma?

eg, I am updating a button but it is not updating the global button component. Is there a way to change one button and make it show across allbuttons.

Hi , welcome πŸ€— will be the best person to go to about this. He'll get back to you as soon as he's available. Meanwhile, please feel free to watch this video for a walk through - https://relume.notion.site/Full-Walk-Through-Using-the-Relume-Site-Builder-409e549d44594f0986c7b3453d93a5e4 - I found this in one of the answers in the community and may still be relevant to what you're looking for.

awesome thanks Zhara!

ill watch the video

You'll want to import your sitemap and wireframes into our Relume Figma kit. If you have done this already, then can you let me know if you are using the free figma kit or the premium figma kit?

this workflow map might help you with in general with how to work between Relume and Figma.

Looking into this today lads! Thanks for your help. Were using the premium figma kit 🀝

Good on you

I'm going to add some screenshots and links to the starter projects etc so it's easier to follow.
I can prob slice up your video into smaller chunks to align with workflow as well.

Thank you so much for sharing - this looks awesome!
