Changing hidden content in edit mode

At a glance

The community member posted a question about how clients can change text or images that are hidden in Edit mode, as having them go into Design mode could potentially mess up the design. The community member also mentioned that making everything a CMS item to edit in the CMS section is not a feasible option. In the comments, another community member suggested putting the hidden text or images as components on a new page, so that the clients can edit them from the Editor view, but ensuring that the parent div is hiding the component rather than the component itself being hidden.

Question about how clients can change text or images that are hidden in Edit mode. Is this possible? Having them go into design mode and potentially messing the design up isn't really a feasible option. Nor is making everything a CMS item to edit in the CMS section. For example a modal, or a hidden image in tabbed content (like Layout 493).

hopefully I have the right Sam tagged...

I suppose one way you could go about this is to put the text or images that are hidden as components on a new page and they should be able to edit those things from the Editor view.

You would just want to make sure that its a parent div that is hiding said component, rather than the component itself being hidden because it will also be hidden on that page.
