Banner issue on mobile portrait

At a glance

A community member reported an issue with Banner 16 on their Webflow homepage where the banner displays correctly in mobile preview but shows only either a logo or text when published. After reviewing preview and published versions of the site, other community members investigated the issue.

The development team determined this was not default behavior for the component and suggested the issue might be caused by custom code interactions, possibly with cookie consent or similar features. They recommended troubleshooting by either duplicating the project and removing advanced functions to identify conflicts, or removing and re-adding the component to the project.

Useful resources

Hi! I am using Banner 16 throughout the homepage, and whenever I preview it in mobile portrait on Webflow, it works well.

However, now that the website is published, I am having issues with the banners where I only see either just one logo or text. I have attached what I see in the Webflow Preview and what the website displays in mobile portrait. I did make some modifications to it, such as hiding either the top or bottom banner since I only want one displayed.

Any ideas of what is the issue here? Thank you!

Would you mind sending a read-only link?

okay thanks, I had thought you had provided the published URL but I guess not - would you mind sharing that as well?

Okay thanks - i might have to escalate this to the component dev team. I'll report back here with any updates!

after the team and I had a closer look we've realized that this is not the default behavior of this component. We're not entirely sure what is causing this issue to be completely honest with you. We think that it may be custom code that is being used. Perhaps with the cookie consent or something similar. Its very hard for us to troubleshoot being that it only happens within a mobile device. I would start to look at possibly duplicating this project, maybe remove some of the more advanced functions of the site to see what might be conflicting with this. The other option would be to clear your project of this component and re-add it to the project to see if that might help. I hope you'll be able to resolve this but if you try a few things and still get hung up - please reach out.
