Adding Global Text Animations Using the Relume Style Guide on Webflow

At a glance

The community members are discussing how to add global text animations using the Relume style guide on Webflow. One community member suggests targeting classes instead of elements, and using a unique interaction class like ix-text-flashy to apply the animation. Another community member thanks the first for the suggestion and agrees that this is probably the best way to approach the problem. There is no explicitly marked answer, but the community members have provided a potential solution.

hello, anyone got any tips on adding global text animations using the relume style guide on webflow ?

if thought through, you could target classes instead of elements. In the interactions panel, scroll to the very bottom and you'll see a dropdown where you can toggle this.

In theory, you could create a unique interaction class like say ix-text-flashy and add this class to any text and it'll do the animation from the interactions.

Thanks Matt! I’ve been putting a lot of thought into into that and figured that’s probably the best way to do it
