Adding Custom Text to Relume Wireframes

At a glance

Community members are struggling with adding their own text into Relume wireframes, as the AI-first design makes it difficult to edit the text boxes. The original poster finds it time-consuming to click the text field multiple times and wait for it to become editable. Another community member has experienced similar issues, such as difficulty selecting and deleting elements. They suggest a workaround of clicking once, waiting, and then clicking again to enter edit mode. The community members would like to see improvements, such as the ability to turn off the AI prompting or have a manual mode for easily adding their own text.

hey friends, does anyone else struggle in adding their own text into Relume wireframes?

While it is great for creating AI content, I find that adding my own copy into the text boxes is very time-consuming. Due to the AI-first design, it is hard to make the text box editable as the system always thinks I want to write a prompt instead of actually changing the text manually.

I find I need to click the text field 3 times and wait 1-2 seconds for it to become editable, which can get very long doing an entire website.

Anyone else finding this a problem? It would be great if I could turn off the AI prompting or have a manual mode where it’s easy to add my own text.

Hey @Himesh I’ve actually had the same issue. Sometimes I triple click to get into edit more. Some items are also hard to select to delete. (E.g. button)

I have found that clicking once (selecting the element) waiting for half a second and clicking again gets me into edit mode. If I double or triple click it usually doesn’t work.

@Matt is that something you could log?
