Adding a Collection List to a Finsweet CMS Slider with Masks

At a glance

Hey all!

I was trying to add a collection list to a slider using the finsweet CMS Slider, however it doesn’t seem to work with sliders that make use of masks? I tried the search functionality here in slack + on google but don’t seem to find any related issues.

Is there anyone who knows if and how I can solve this?

Thanks in advance! 🙂

Would you mind sending a read-only link?

Hey have you had any chance to look into my issue? Thanks in advance 😄

apologies here - will also need the published URL and then some idea of what section is having the issues - especially if the issues are not obvious.

It’s about these 2 sections on the homepage 🙂

so you think its not populating these sliders because of the mask, is that correct?

I'm not seeing any attributes being applied to either one of those sliders.

Thanks for already looking into it, I will try to clarify it a bit more:

  1. I am now first trying to make it work on the blog category component.
  2. I added the correct structure to the collection list (I just republished it with the collection list). What you’ll see now is that the cards are aligned vertically instead of horizontally. I think this is because the arrow and the slide nav can’t be inside the collection list blog group.
  3. I indeed removed the attributes before. I’ve now added the attribute to the collection list. However, I’m confused on where to add the slider component.

did you already had the chance to look into this again?

I believe your issue is identical to that of Lex's and I have a response to that here:

If you believe they are in fact different though, please let me know. I'm here to help the best I can.
