A Prototype Needs To Have At Least One Frame

At a glance

The community member is a newbie working in the marketing department who needs to replace a UI designer on a quick 2-page project. They are using the Relume kit on Figma and have only used Relume components to build a page wireframe. The issue they are facing is that when they try to "present my project", it says "a prototype needs to have at least one frame". The comments suggest two solutions: 1) highlight everything, right-click, and select "frame selection", or 2) ungroup everything, select all, and navigate to "Object > Ungroup selection" or use the keyboard shortcut "cmd + delete" to ungroup the frames, potentially needing to do this twice to get to the specific frames for each page.

Hey guys.

First of all you need to know I’m a complete newbie. I work in the marketing department but need to replace the ui designer on a quick 2 pages project.

I’m using the relume kit on figma. I only used relume components from the library. And put them on top of each other to build a page wireframe.

My issue is -> I don’t understand why it says « a prototype needs to have at least one frame » when I try to click on « present my project ». Please help :)

highlight everything, right click, frame selection. try that

you can do what Lukas has mentioned, or you can ungroup everything - so select everything - then navigate to object > ungroup selection or cmd + delete to ungroup the frames. You might have to do this twice in order to get to the specific frames for each page.
